Bangladesh Football Teamwear. Reimagined.

Bangladesh has never played in the football World Cup.

Truth be told, we don't know when that day will come. But that hasn't stopped us from hoping, from daydreaming, from reimagining.

While jerseys take centre stage every World Cup, the accompanying teamwear is often overlooked. But those who are truly keen on the sport know how important they are to the team's presence.

And so, we imagined what teamwear could look like if Bangladesh ever made it to the World Cup. As we watch the biggest sporting spectacle on the planet from the sidelines, it felt appropriate to design a sweatshirt to wear off the pitch during the first ever World Cup in recent memory taking place in winter.

The design is based on vintage sweatshirt patterns, whilst taking inspiration from the green and white colourways of Bangladesh football kits.

We also reimagined a minimal concept badge for Bangladesh football featuring the water lily, the national emblem of the country, and of course, the representative tiger.

Perhaps, the most subtle yet striking element of this piece is the minimal design featuring the wavelengths from a rendition of Bangladesh's national anthem running through the sides of the sleeves.

With such attention to detail, it was a no-brainer to link up with Gorur Ghash again for the quality we strive to serve.
